Vintage Stamps

Last week I posted about Greer Chicago, a stationery provider based in Chicago. Their website sold envelopes already affixed with vintage stamps. I really loved this idea, so I decided to search the internet for stamps. It turns out that stamps are easy to find, but you have to sift through a lot to find really good looking ones, but they are out there. From what I've read online, sometimes you can actually buy old stamps for face value. If the stamps are from the 70's and 80's you can get pretty solid prices if you search on Ebay. Below are the envelopes featured on Greer's website, and a couple of cute stamps I found on Ebay.

I did a search and had such a hard time finding what I needed. Would you mind telling us what search terms you used? These are all great!

Turns out that was a little bit harder to find than I suggested. I found a seller on Ebay who have a bunch, the web address is http://stores.ebay.com/SeaJay-Stamp-and-Coin

I have never bought or sold anything from this seller, but he has a good seller rating, so...

Thanks for the info. I will definitely check them out. I had the hardest time doing the search, so this is definitely a step in the right direction!
