While doing some research for a client, I came across these adorable welcome baskets for out of towners. This type of item is often a detail that people think of as easy to get accomplished, but can be easier imagined than created. In one of my recent events in East Hampton our client provided a list of their favorite activities in the area, which helped the guests to have a great time, know the area better, and, in a way, get to know the bride and groom better. It is very important to make your out of town guests appreciated. Many brides think that their family and friends are obligated to travel wherever they choose for their big day, but this is certainly not the case, and if you do not take special care, guests will notice. Here are some images of welcome baskets from Kate Parker Weddings.
