Style Me Pretty posted a picture of Kaitlin's wedding dress yesterday and wrote a wonderful entry about the work that goes into the Little Black Book directory. SMPs is commited to hand-selecting each vendor they represent in the Little Black Book. Being a listed vendor in both Manhattan and Southern California, we are familiar with the process and know it to be absolutely true that SMP fact & reference checks, extensively researches, and qualifies each and every vendor represented in the directory. From Inspiration Boards to product reviews, Real Weddings, and vendor listings, SMP embodies quality in everything to which they attach their name and brand. As many of our favorite and most preferred vendors in the industry, on both coasts, are listed in the Little Black Book, we know that SMP really does their homework and raises the level of quality in our industry to a whole new standard.

Palm Springs: Real Wedding
As promised, here are some photos of a Real Wedding we produced at the Corona Yacht Club in Palm Springs. In true Palm Springs fashion, the bride wanted an alternative-style wedding, with the overall vibe of a lounge. We created one long table where all one-hundred-fifty-plus guests dined--the final layout was pretty incredible. After dinner, guests then mingled into the covered lounge-area to dance the night away. Our Cali team is responsible for putting the lounge-area together, as well as the tables; flowers and centerpieces were provided locally. Check this table out...

Destination: A Palm Springs Weekend
Everything about Palm Springs is mid-century modern. It has been making the transition to hipster since Coachella landed in 1999 and now the soon-to-be opened Ace Hotel. The architecture, design, and vibe is completely Rat Pack-meets-Retro glam. Loves.it.
Today we wanted to highlight a fave destination in Palm Springs starting with The Parker. The Parker was designed by the fab Jonathan Adler: who-better for this aesthetic? And they offer the best Hermés and Molton Brown products, which to us are the signatures of a luxury amenity. The Parker is a sister property the Le Parker Meridien in Manhattan and Parker guests have been graced with Le Meridien's transplant restaurant Norma's. Insider's tip: the best breakfast we've ever eaten, really. The Parker also is a chic place to hold your wedding--the photo ops are stunning and you'll see a gorg(eous) Real Wedding at the Parker later my friends. Lastly, we will share another Real Wedding tomorrow that we produced in this this desert oasis. Our plan is to keep you coming back for more of Palm Springs all weekend.

Vanilla Bake Shop goes Havana Chic for us...
As promised, here are the gorgeous images from our "Havana Chic" Bride & Bloom shoot with Vanilla Bake Shop . *love*love*love* the dessert spread Amy created from our original Inspiration Board for the shoot. The poster served as the initial inspiration for the "Havana Chic" theme--we just wanted to share it with you because we are obsessed with everything about it: font, style, colors, the Hollywood-Art Deco-throwback vibe.
**all images courtesy of our friends Chris & Katie Humphreys **
Adorable accents...
Although not huge fans of the cake topper; however, the idea Amy posted was super sweet. We thought a compliment to our Vanilla Bake Shop post would be these accents that could serve as a more modern, subtle topper.
