Props from Bridal Bar blog & Melanie Nashan
Thanks for the props from our fave The Bridal Bar blog on a recent wedding we produced in Santa Monica and to Melanie Nashan, whose work we featured last week (we also love that she is a huge Bewitched fan, TV show not the movie). Grazie. Below are some gorgeous photos from Garrett Photography and the Inspiration Boards from the wedding from The Bridal Bar blog. Amazing florals by Lilla Bello. xo.

Some Me & Ro Goodness
We adore Me & Ro. These Manhattan wedding planners regularly visit the store in Nolita and on Melrose and leave with gorgeous pieces. Not fussy, and simply beautiful, their jewelry is timeless. As you may have seen in recent wedding editorial, Me & Ro is now designing for the bridal market and our L.A. office is partnering with the Melrose location to offer our clients specialty rates. Loves it. Check out what they have been working on... Pretty. Little. Things.

Gorgeous Images: Melanie Nashan
Melanie Nashan and her associates shoot some amazing weddings (as you can see below) with photographers in San Francisco, Montana, and Florida. Her work has appeared in some impressive glossies from Martha to Town & Country and every fantastic publication in-between. Definitely check out her site and blog for some amazing inspiration, events, and images. Here is some info about Melanie and her work (of course) in her own words... More. Later.
“Photography is my passion. It is intuitive to me. When I'm working, I see the beauty and emotion of people's shared connections, and capturing those moments on film comes naturally to me. Being a part of creating family histories for others brings me back to memories of my own family. I know how important it is to have that history. That’s why taking beautiful photographs of profound moments in people’s lives really matters.” - Melanie Nashan
Melanie earned her MFA in photography from Vermont College. Her work has appeared in Martha Stewart , Elegant Bride, Bride’s Magazine, PDN, and Forbes, among other publications and books. She has taught workshops for aspiring photographers across the country. Melanie enjoys spending as much time as possible at home on her ranch in Montana with her husband and two children.

"To-Do" List
New York: Every New Yorker holds brunch in highest esteem--so more reason to hit up the new restaurant Permanent Brunch. Yes. Brunch. All Day. Every day. Heaven. 95 First Ave., 212.533.3315 L.A. (okay, well OC): We are totally loving the surfer vibe of the newly opened Shorebreak Hotel in Huntington Beach. Huge fans of The Strand in general, the hotel is located right along the promenade. Side note: we are also dig the summer bonfires on the beach. Very chill. 500 PCH, Huntington Beach, 714.861.4470

Goodness: Self Edge
We usually have our "To-Do" list on Friday, but we can't resist telling you about this--because it's rad. Being the fans of denim that we are and wearing jeans as if they are our official uniform, we are obsessed with finding the perfect fit. Starting tomorrow search no further than the LES. Self Edge, with its original location in San Francisco, is a store filled with the best vintage and new denim created by the most cutting-edge artists from the U.S. to Japan. We all know that Japenese jeans kick ass because they are made on vintage American shuttle looms. Yay! Bonus: they will hem your jeans with a vintage chainstitching machine for the authentic jean look. Self Edge: 157 Orchard St. @ Rivington. 212 388.0079.

Here's what L.A. Style Unveiled had to say about us. Wow-- thanks! We are blushing...
Lyndsey Hamilton Events: We love this blog for obvious reasons ... Lyndsey Hamilton, of course! :) A wedding planning guru, style expert, and a lady who learned the ins and outs of wedding planning from her own personal experience ... Lyndsey has built a wedding planning empire all on her own! If that's not inspirational, we don't know what is :)
